Doncaster Mansion House - Architectural Photography

If you've passed by the Mansion House in Doncaster recently you will have noticed how good it's looking. It's recently undergone an external renovation and some select works inside. We were asked to send along our architectural photographer and document the completed works. It's not an easy building to photograph as it's quite a tall building and the relatively narrow street makes getting a nice perspective quite challenging. With some clever use of shift lenses however, we were able to counteract some of the natural distortion and create much more natural photographs. A shift lens isn't just useful for correcting verticals!

There were also a few shots taken of a ceiling that had been repaired and these are included in here too.
